The Nemean Lion is a creature from Greek mythology, most famous for being one of the challenges that the hero Heracles (Hercules) faced during his Twelve Labors. This lion was said to have skin so tough that it was impervious to weapons like swords, spears, and arrows. According to myth, the lion terrorized the region of Nemea, killing anyone who tried to pass through. In the first of his Twelve
